      BREAKING: Executive Director David Porter announce BREAKING: Executive Director David Porter announced the first confirmed case of COVID-19 involving a student at UPA in an email to the UPA community on Dec. 2. As a precautionary measure, the Horton Connect learning program will be suspended starting the end of the school day on Dec. 2 until Dec. 14. Aquila will continue to update the UPA community as the situation develops.

      As the Class of 2021 rushed to complete their Univ As the Class of 2021 rushed to complete their University of California (UC) essays and make last-minute edits to their applications before the Nov. 30 deadline, the UC application portal crashed, leaving students with concerns about whether they would be able to submit their applications. A few hours later, the UC Undergraduate Admissions updated students on Twitter (@UC_Apply) and Instagram (@uofcalifornia) about the four-day extended deadline.
