Advika Singaravelan, Reporter
| Advika Singaravelan is a freshman entering her first year of journalism. In the future, Singaravelan hopes to pursue finance, get her master’s and PHD at Stanford or Harvard and eventually start her own business. She’s known to be a hard worker, always making her work the best it can be and finding ways to improve. Outside of school, Singaravelan loves to dance, create art, read, write and crochet. She has been a Bharatnatyam dancer for the past ten years. In the upcoming school year, she is looking forward to her first solo performance, known as an “Arangetram”. Singaravelan also loves to spend time with her family and friends, valuing friendliness and open-mindedness in her relationships. Singaravelan’s journalistic goal as a reporter this year is to shift the media’s focus from negatively charged news to lighter events in the world as well. She believes that lots of optimistic news, such as discoveries and solutions to worldwide problems, are often overlooked. |
