Angelica Froumis, Design Editor

Junior Angelica Froumis, better known as “Angel,” is in her second year of journalism. Froumis desires a career in background art, hopefully working for a company like Disney or Pixar. She has been interested in pursuing art from a young age, and learning to paint during the COVID-19 pandemic helped to strengthen her passion. Froumis also values her Orthodox Christian religion and views her church as a second home, visiting every Sunday as well as on various special occasions. She has been able to build strong relationships with others through church and it has helped her to be a better person. Some of Froumis’ past contributions for Aquila include the in-depth “‘Sorry, I have Practice’” detailing the mental health of student athletes and last year’s prom article “Students Enjoy a Night of Mystery.” This year, Froumis aims to focus on photojournalism among various other creative contributions to Aquila. She hopes to design and illustration more because of her passion towards art.
