Dravin Krishnaprasad, Reporter
Dravin Krishnaprasad is a sophomore excited to go into his first year of journalism. When possible, Krishnaprasad enjoys skiing for fun and the thrill of speeding down slopes. As a believer that pursuing skiing as a career would take the thrill out of it, Krishnaprasad prefers keeping it as a hobby. He also enjoys running on his own or with a cross country team and playing video games such as Clash Royale to get out of his own head. Krishnaprasad has two go-to beliefs that seem in clash with each other but actually aren’t. His first is that if something is due tomorrow, he should do it tomorrow. The second belief he follows is to keep working until a goal is completed. Krishnaprasad believes these two go hand-in-hand as the first encapsulates his tendency to procrastinate the starting of tasks while the second portrays his drive to complete a task once he does eventually start it. Despite the initial procrastination, Krishnaprasad finds that following these two mottos has worked out for him, never submitting an assignment past the due date. Valuing personal growth, Krishnaprasad also hopes to change his friends’ humorous description of him being very cocky by learning to take rejection well and being more understanding. As a reporter this year, Krishnaprasad hopes to improve his writing and his ability to have deep conversations. Inspired by patterns he noticed in real life, Krishnaprasad also hopes to cover the way social media influencers are one singular person but represent large groups of viewers and followers.
