Freshman Dylan Sim is exploring his first year in journalism. Outside of school, Sim participates in competitive archery and hopes to compete in the Junior Olympics his senior year. He is also involved in yearbook and ASB at UPA. Sim takes photos for school events and manages the PR for the ASB Instagram page. He however aspires to work in health care mostly, hoping to have a career in dermatology due to his desire to make an impact on those around him. Sim values good friends that play a major role in his life due to the fact of how he was very social growing up.  Sim lives by the quote, “Oh yeah.” His tutor has always told him this, and he views it as motivation to keep trying and use all his energy, even when things get tough. As a reporter this year, Sim aims to improve his writing and learn how to put his ideas on paper efficiently.
