Harshad Vaidhyanathan is a freshman in his first year of journalism. At school, Vaidhyanathan enters his third year as part of the photography club Outside of school, Vaidhyanathan enjoys playing soccer. He first discovered his love for soccer in third grade and started to play on a competitive team in fifth grade. He is currently part of Almaden Futbol Club, or AFC for short. Vaidhyanathan is also interested in planes and hopes to be a pilot. His dream company to work for is Emirates as he hopes to give the same service he experienced while flying on the airline. In the future, Vaidhyanathan hopes to live in Europe while flying around the world. Vaidhyanathan values his family, friends and his dog Leo. He enjoys spending time with his friends playing video games, particularly “Valorant.” Vaidhyanathan enjoys friends who can make him laugh. In return, he can be described by them as funny and talkative. His goal for journalism this year is to report on events happening around the school.
