Juliann Jaison is a freshman entering her first year of journalism. Jaison plays soccer, piano and does art. She plays soccer for the MVLA club. Jaison uses soccer as a way to destress and plays for charities outside of UPA. She loves to give back to the community and wants to leave the world better than it was when she got here. Jaison values consistency and hard work in those around her because she believes that it is easier to trust people and makes them easier to work with. This year, Jaison hopes to write about how relationships develop and deteriorate over time due to her desired profession as a divorce lawyer. When it comes to reporting, she would like to focus on news and opinions because her passion lies in researching and publishing her voice for the UPA community.
