Nirmith Indukuri is a sophomore in his first year of journalism. In his future, Indukuri aims to live a stable and peaceful life with a career in the artificial intelligence industry, specifically involving the development of the large language models that aid AI systems. Currently, he furthers his interest in the field by researching and building websites that use AI. Another one of Indukuri’s hobbies is chess, which he began playing in the pandemic and later expanded on, now participating in tournaments and competitions often. Indukuri values patience in others and tries to not let others’ actions influence his decisions and the way he acts, valuing individuality and independence. He frequently calls and spends time with his friends, enjoying their company. Academically, he always has a desire to further his intelligence and stay informed. This year as a reporter, Indukuri aims to dive into topics including the implications of AI in society and its impacts, as well as unfair wages.
