Sneha Madan, Team Editor

Sophomore Sneha Madan is entering her second year in journalism. She has a multitude of hobbies and extracurriculars which she participates in both in and outside of school. Madan plays for the UPA girls basketball team and is soon to be a black belt in taekwondo. Her ideal day would consist of going to the beach and watching the sunset, two of her favorite things. The best piece of advice that Madan received was “Everything happens for a reason.” She believes in not getting too caught up with things because they always work out in the end. She also values being around people who are trustworthy and patient as it helps to maintain relationships and create success. Some of her past pieces include an in-depth documenting how mental health affects athletes titled “Sorry, I Have Practice,” an article about the prom at the Winchester Mystery House headlined “Students Enjoy a Night of Mystery” as well as multiple designs. Madan’s journalistic goals this year is to touch on hard-hitting topics such as the effects of stereotypes and work on more features and arts and cultures.
