Sophia Shaheen, Reporter
| Sophia Shaheen is a freshman entering her first year of journalism. In and out of school, Shaheen loves dancing and doing cheer. She has been in cheer for four years now and is very passionate about her sport. Shaheen is also devoted to her faith, her favorite verses being Philippians 4:13 and Genesis 50:20. She also participates in a weekly youth group on Sundays at her church. In the future, Shaheen hopes to go into public relations, marketing or other related fields. Shaheen values kindness and loyalty, believing that honesty is the best policy. She doesn’t let others’ words put her down and always stays true to her values. In journalism, Shaheen hopes to shed light on new topics Aquila has yet to focus on while also doing PR for Aquila. She hopes to focus on new or rare points of views in UPA’s community that haven’t yet been highlighted, bringing awareness to underrepresented areas of UPA. |
