Freshman Yunji Zuo is in his first year of journalism. In the future, Zuo aspires to go to UCLA and major in computer science. His interest comes from always being around computers and his skill in math. Zuo aspires to start a computer science club at UPA this year as well. Outside of school, Zuo has been doing competitive swimming for three years. He enjoys this because swimming has always been relaxing to him. Another of Zuo’s hobbies is Pokemon. His interest began when he used to watch the anime at a young age, leading him to look into the franchise. Zuo values his life and lives with the mindset of living for those less fortunate. He believes that even though bad things happen in life, it should still be enjoyed to the best it can be. Zuo also values patience in people as most things in life need time and cannot get done without waiting. As a reporter this year, Zuo is most interested in covering educational topics and making them more known in the media.
