Aidan Beaver, Reporter
Aidan Beaver is a junior in his first year in journalism. He does not have any nicknames, but some people call him by his last name, “Beaver.” Beaver has many aspirations: making money, attending Santa Clara University, and overall, just being happy. Beaver can only speak English, but would like to learn how to speak Spanish. He loves his friends, and values that they are loyal, friendly and humorous. Beaver’s favorite motto is “The road to success is always under construction; everyday you’re waiting for a better you.” Beaver strives to embody this motto in his day-to-day life, and strives to be a better human being every day. He looks up to his grandpa and appreciates the advice he gives him; Beaver’s grandpa once said, “Do things for you, not others. Don’t hurt yourself by helping others.” If Beaver could have the whole day to himself, he would play video games and hang out with his friends. He enjoys playing volleyball, basketball and Taiko. Beaver has many friends that would describe him as bubbly, funny and kind. Although people might not expect it, he also has a twin. In journalism, Beaver wants to report on the rising prevalence of hate crimes.
