Lance Peraza, Reporter
Junior Lance Peraza is in his first year of Journalism. In ten years, he wants to be a better person to not be alone and he wants to see that he enjoys his life. Peraza, from a Salvadorian background, can speak Spanish and English, sometimes speaking it at home with his parents. Family and friends come first for him in life. Peraza appreciates his friends’ and family’s humor and kindness, living by the motto “keep life simple” because high expectations are met with disappointment. To him, it is important to be yourself in life. In his free time, he plays games, watches shows and reads manga, because it’s entertaining. He would describe himself with two words: funny and short because of his short height. He is interested in the interviewing aspect of journalism since he likes hearing people’s opinions and their experiences. He is also interested in designing, because he likes to see if someone appreciates his or others' work. This is so after seeing the formats of the articles he’s read so far.
